Family Sponsorships
Put your family's name on the rink. For $100, your family is added to our rink banner for the season, seen by every player, parent, and coach at every practice and home game. It's a simple way to show your support and help fund the tournament fees, training, and scholarships that keep RRYH running for every kid on the ice. Your sponsorship is tax-deductible.
Support the Development of Our Players
Established in 1971, RRYH gives children the opportunity to participate in competitive youth hockey. Our program emphasizes the teaching of fundamental hockey skills, discipline, sportsmanship and a commitment to develop each player to his or her maximum level of ability.
RRYH, run by the City of Rocky River Recreation Department, is a member of the Cleveland Suburban Hockey League (CSHL), which governs all Northern Ohio youth hockey programs. Many RRYH players begin with our LTP Level 1 program at 4 years old, move through our Learn to Play “grass roots” levels, advance to our U8, U10, U12 and U14 programs, and then move on to high school teams and beyond. We continue to have several Ohio state high school championship hockey players, NCAA players and professional players who played their youth hockey or started their career in our program.
Despite our accomplishments, ice hockey is a very expensive sport. Our parents solely fund their players’ participation, which can make funding “extras” difficult. This is where you can make a difference with a sponsorship.
Some of the additional player opportunities created by sponsorship last season include:
- Practice jerseys
- Conway Goaltending goalie training sessions
- Ohio Hockey Project team & goalie coaching
- Extra ice time for the program
- Coaching seminars, drill platforms and other resources
- Girls specific training sessions
- Tournament fees
- Organization events
- Additional camps and clinics
We hope you will consider supporting the development of RRYH and its players.
