Rocky River Youth Hockey
RRYH is run by the City of Rocky River Recreation Department and emphasizes the teaching of fundamental hockey skills, discipline, sportsmanship and a commitment to develop each player to their maximum ability level.
RRYH is a member of the Cleveland Suburban Hockey League (CSHL).
Ages
Players 8U - 14U that have completed at least 2 years of Learn To Play Hockey.
When
Season begins in late August and runs until playoffs in March. Placement skates for the next season are in late March.
Where
Practices are at Hamilton Ice Arena.

Jerseys
Practice jerseys are provided. Game jerseys are ordered through Rube Adler in the spring and summer.
Jersey numbers must be approved by RRYH. A player forfeits their number at the time they leave the RRYH program.
Practices
Teams practice 2 times per week.
Optional training:
Sunday Skills with Ohio Hockey Project (registration required)
Power Skating with Okicki Hockey Tuesday evenings (registration required through RR LTS program)
Games
Games are scheduled through the Cleveland Suburban Hockey League (CSHL)
Preseason games are mid September - end of October
Regular Season games are early November - mid February 2027
League Semifinals are played end of February 2027
League Championship played early March 2027
Extra Costs
Team fees, determined by RRYH, Inc. Executive Board, will be collected in June (online payments only through Crossbar)
Mite 8U - $180
Squirt 10U - $310
Peewee 12U - $350
Bantam 14U - $350
$30 of each team fee is allocated to the RRYH, Inc. General Fund for program expenses with the remaining money belongs to the team budget.
USAH REGISTRATION
USA Hockey registration fee is needed before taking the ice in August.

2019 & Younger - $17.00
2017-2018 - $56.00
2013-2016 - $69.00
2007-2012 - $79.00
2006 & Older - $52.00
2026-2027 Season
Returning player registration will be open February 16th-March 1st.
Registration is open to CURRENT RRYH PLAYERS ONLY.
New player inquires must fill out the " New Player Application". All new player info can be found HERE.
City fee deposit (50% of city fee balance) is due Sunday, March 8, 2026
Players will not be eligible for placement skates until the City Fee deposit is paid.
City fee balances (remaining 50%) are due October 22nd.
All fees are NON-REFUNDABLE
